Elite team

Last season, the Knights' Elite team had a huge role in the organizations historic return. The Elite team had the third-highest point total in the USPHL Elite, just one shy of a share of the top spot. The Knights Elite also finished second in the league in goal differential (plus 97). They totaled 71 points on 35 wins in 44 games, enough to win the Mid Atlantic Division. After punching their ticket to Nationals, the Knights Elite made it to the final four.

Meet the coaches

Reed Nichols (HC)

Reed Nichols will be behind the helm of the Elite team. Nichols grew up playing roller and ice hockey in Tampa, FL. where he has won multiple national championships as a roller and ice player at the youth level.

From there, Reed excelled as a forward for the Trinity Pawling Prep School in the Founders League. After High School, he went out west to play in the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League and ended his junior career with Apple Core in the Eastern Hockey League due to injury and illness. During recovery he stayed active in the local hockey community. In his hometown of Tampa, FL, Nichols was able to assist with a local high school team in winning a State Championship. The following year he was asked to step in and take over as Head Coach and was able to guide his team to the State Semifinals.
