Premier Team

With the rebirth of the Knights organization last season, The Premier team showcased a historic season, dominating the Atlantic West Division with 80 points and 39 wins in 44 regular season games. The team's 90.9 point percentage earned them the USPHL Premier league regular season championship. At Nationals, the Knights advanced through round robin play and to the Final Four.

Meet the Coaches

Jim Anna (HC)

After last seasons success, the Knights will look to take another step forward under new bench boss Jim Anna, who served as an assistant coach for the Knights Premier team last season. Anna began his coaching career after graduating from college when he took a job as the Assistant to the Head Coach in the ECHL for the Columbus Chill. Over the next 30 years of coaching, he cultivated an expertise for developing players to move on to the next level in their careers. He helped develop and establish the Florida High School Hockey League and has coached the same team since 2001 with 6 State Championships and 6 National Championship appearances. Anna has coached at every level in youth hockey, including AAA for the Florida Alliance, 2002 Tier 1 Tampa Bay Jr. Lightning, AAA Thunder, Tampa Scorpions, and various summer and spring tournament teams. He also previously served as the Hockey Director for the Tampa Bay Jr. Lightning and helped them successfully compete in multiple national Tier 1 level tournaments throughout the country. Jim has coached players that have moved on to play in the NHL, NCAA D1 and D3, USHL, OHL, NAHL, and NCDC levels, as well as various Canadian junior leagues.
